Terms of Service
Last updated: 8/7/20261. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Soteria ("Soteria", "we", "our", or "us") at soteria.rip, including the obfuscation service, the whitelist and key system, any related tools, and the application programming interface (API) (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. Accessing or using the Service through the API, automated scripts, or any programmatic means constitutes acceptance of these Terms to the same extent as accessing the website directly.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if higher. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By permitting a minor to use the Service, the parent or legal guardian agrees to be personally bound by these Terms, accepts full responsibility for the minor's use of the Service, and agrees to be liable for any violations of these Terms by the minor, including all financial obligations, indemnification, and waiver of claims set forth herein.
2. What Soteria Is and Is Not
Soteria provides code obfuscation tooling for Luau and Lua scripts, along with a key and whitelist system that script authors can use to license and gate access to their own work. Soteria is a tool. We do not write, review, endorse, or take responsibility for the content, purpose, or function of any script submitted to the Service.
Soteria is not a publisher, distributor of the scripts you obfuscate, and is not a party to any agreement between you and the end users of your scripts. You are solely responsible for what you upload, what it does, and how you distribute it.
Soteria is an independent service. We have no affiliation, association, partnership, or official connection of any kind with Roblox Corporation, Byfron Technologies, or any of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, or partners. The Soteria platform is not endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Roblox Corporation or Byfron Technologies. Any references to Roblox, Luau, or related technologies are made solely for descriptive purposes and do not imply any relationship.
Soteria does not support, condone, encourage, or endorse exploiting, hacking, cheating, or any form of unauthorized modification of Roblox or any other platform. We do not support or condone the bypassing, circumvention, reverse engineering, or disabling of any anti-cheat, anti-tamper, or security system, including but not limited to Byfron or any system operated by Roblox Corporation. While our tools may be technically compatible with third-party execution environments, compatibility does not constitute endorsement. The Service is intended for legitimate use cases such as protecting your own intellectual property, licensing your own scripts, and decompiling code you have the right to analyze. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the terms of service of any platform you interact with.
Soteria's Script Library is a search tool that aggregates publicly available script listings from third-party script repositories, currently including rscripts.net, ScriptBlox, and ScriptVerse. Soteria does not author, host, review, vet, moderate, or endorse any script surfaced through the Script Library, and has no affiliation with these third-party repositories. Links and copy actions in the Script Library point to content controlled entirely by the originating third party, which may change, break, or be removed at any time without notice. You use any script obtained through the Script Library entirely at your own risk, and Soteria bears no responsibility for its safety, legality, functionality, or effect on your device, account, or any platform you use it on.
Soteria respects the intellectual property and security interests of third-party platforms. If you are a rights holder or authorized representative of a platform (including Roblox Corporation or Byfron Technologies) and believe that content or activity on the Service infringes your rights or violates your terms of service, you may submit a written request to [email protected]. We will review all good-faith requests in a timely manner and, at our sole discretion, take appropriate action, which may include removing content, suspending accounts, or disabling features. Soteria reserves the right to evaluate each request independently and is not obligated to comply with requests that we determine in good faith to be without merit, overly broad, or not applicable to our Service.
3. Oracle Data Collection, Service Creator Access, and the Discord Bot
The Oracle whitelist and key system collects certain data from end users when scripts are executed. This data may include, but is not limited to, User IDs (in-game or platform identifiers), Hardware IDs (HWIDs), approximate geolocation (country, derived from IP address), device type, executor type, and Roblox profile information (constructed from the User ID). This data is collected to enforce access controls, prevent abuse, and operate the key system.
Oracle service creators may enable webhook logging for their services. When enabled, execution data, security events, and errors are sent to a Discord webhook URL configured by the service creator. This means that data such as your Roblox profile link, approximate geolocation (country), device type, executor type, and Oracle key may be transmitted to the service creator's Discord server or other destination of their choosing. Service creators can also view HWIDs and User IDs associated with keys in their service through the Soteria dashboard.
Soteria acts solely as a platform and tool provider. We provide the infrastructure that enables service creators to manage and monitor their scripts. Once data is delivered to a service creator via webhook logs, the dashboard, or any other feature of the Service, Soteria has no control over and assumes no responsibility or liability for how that service creator stores, uses, processes, shares, discloses, or otherwise handles that data. Service creators are independent third parties, not agents, employees, or representatives of Soteria. Any dispute regarding a service creator's use of your data is solely between you and that service creator.
By using any script or key that is part of an Oracle service, you acknowledge and accept that the data described above will be collected by Soteria and may be disclosed to the service creator. You expressly agree that Soteria bears no liability for the actions, omissions, or data handling practices of any service creator, and you waive any and all claims against Soteria arising from a service creator's use or misuse of your data.
If you are an Oracle service creator, you are solely responsible for your own compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the data you receive through the Service, including but not limited to data protection, privacy, and consumer protection laws. You agree to indemnify Soteria against any claims arising from your handling of end-user data received through Oracle webhook logs or the Soteria dashboard.
For personal data collected from the end users of your scripts through Oracle or a gateway, you are the data controller and Soteria acts only as a data processor or service provider handling that data on your behalf and on your instructions. You are responsible for establishing a lawful basis for that collection and for providing any notice to, and obtaining any consent from, your end users that applicable law requires. This expressly includes any parental consent or other requirement that applies to users who are children under laws such as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code, or any similar law. You agree that you will not use the Service to collect data from end users in any manner that violates any such law, and you accept full responsibility and liability for doing so.
The Service may display estimated revenue figures to Oracle service creators based on gateway checkpoint completions and estimated CPM rates. These figures are approximations only and are not guaranteed, verified, or auditable. Actual earnings depend entirely on the third-party monetization provider and are subject to that provider's own terms, payment schedules, and policies. Soteria makes no warranty or representation regarding the accuracy of estimated revenue figures, and you agree not to rely on them as a guarantee of income or payment.
Soteria provides an optional Discord bot that lets you link a Discord server to your Oracle service and manage keys, whitelisting, blacklisting, and obfuscation from within Discord. Linking a server requires your Soteria API key. Regenerating your API key immediately and permanently unlinks every Discord server previously connected to your account; you will need to relink them with your new key.
Using the bot's /manager command, you may grant any Discord role the ability to use staff commands (such as whitelisting, blacklisting, key lookups, and obfuscation) on your behalf, drawing on your own account's resources and membership quota. You are solely responsible for who you grant this access to and for any action taken through your linked server, whether by you, a member of your Discord server, or anyone who obtains a role you have granted staff access to. Soteria is not responsible for actions taken by roles or individuals you have authorized, and you agree to indemnify Soteria against any claims arising from your delegation of bot access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. Without limiting the foregoing, you must not, and must not allow or assist anyone else to:
- Upload, obfuscate, distribute, or otherwise process any script that contains stealers, info loggers, script crashers, denial-of-service scripts, or any other code designed to damage, disable, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to a system, device, or account.
- Use the Service to conceal, disguise, or evade detection of code that violates the terms of service, anti-cheat systems, or intellectual property rights of any third-party platform, including but not limited to Roblox.
- Upload or obfuscate any script you do not own and do not have the legal right to modify, obfuscate, or distribute.
- Use the Service to facilitate cheating, exploiting, or unauthorized modification of any game or application in a way that violates that game or application's own terms of service, where doing so is intended to harm other users or circumvent fair use of that platform.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, deobfuscate, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying structure of the Service, our obfuscator, or our key and whitelist system, or attempt to bypass, weaken, or circumvent any security, licensing, or technical protection measure used by the Service.
- Use temporary, disposable, or throwaway email addresses, or any email service designed to mask identity or evade verification, to register for or maintain an account.
- Create multiple accounts to evade a ban, suspension, rate limit, trial restriction, or any other limitation we have placed on your access, or create accounts in bulk, programmatically, or for the purpose of abuse, resale, or fraud.
- Use bots, scripts, scrapers, or any automated means to interact with the Service, including the obfuscation engine, the key system, or the website itself, except where we have explicitly provided an official API for that purpose.
- Send an abnormal or excessive volume of requests to the Service, or take any action intended to or likely to disrupt, degrade, overload, or impair the performance, availability, or security of the Service for other users.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system or network, or breach or attempt to breach any authentication or security measure.
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or share your account, license key, or whitelist credentials with any third party without our express written permission.
- Misrepresent your identity, impersonate any person or entity, or use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm another person.
A violation of this section is grounds for immediate suspension or termination of your account under Section 7, without refund, and may be reported to relevant law enforcement or third-party platforms where we believe in good faith that the law or the rights of others have been violated.
API Access
The Service provides an API for programmatic access to certain features, including obfuscation and key management. Use of the API is subject to these Terms in their entirety. By generating or using an API key, you additionally agree to the following:
- Your API key is confidential. You are responsible for all activity conducted using your API key, whether or not authorized by you. If you suspect your key has been compromised, you must regenerate it immediately.
- You must respect all rate limits imposed by the Service. Attempting to circumvent, bypass, or exceed rate limits through any means is a violation of these Terms.
- We reserve the right to revoke, disable, or regenerate your API key at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
- API access is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, response times, or backward compatibility of the API, and we may modify, deprecate, or remove API endpoints at any time without notice.
- You may not use the API to build a competing service, resell access to the Service, or enable any third party to use the Service in a way that would violate these Terms.
5. File Uploads
The Service accepts uploads of plain text, Lua, and Luau script files only. You retain ownership of any script you upload. By uploading a file, you represent and warrant that you own the file or otherwise have all rights necessary to submit it for obfuscation, and that the file does not violate Section 4 of these Terms or any applicable law.
We do not claim ownership over your uploaded scripts. We may, however, retain limited technical logs or metadata as described in our Privacy Policy, and we may scan or review uploaded content for the purpose of detecting violations of these Terms.
We reserve the right to refuse to process, to remove, or to revoke a key tied to any script that we believe in good faith violates these Terms, without prior notice.
6. Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account using a real, currently active email address that you control. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and license keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or a compromised key.
7. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account and revoke any associated keys, tokens, or memberships, at our sole and absolute discretion, with or without cause, with or without prior notice, and at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where we believe you have violated these Terms, where your conduct is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties, or for any other reason or no reason at all.
Suspension or termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any kind, including for unused tokens, remaining membership time, or any other purchased credits or features. You acknowledge and agree that any forfeiture of tokens, membership time, or other credits upon termination is a fair and agreed-upon consequence of these Terms and does not constitute unjust enrichment, theft, conversion, or any other actionable claim against Soteria. This applies regardless of whether termination was for cause or without cause. We may also suspend access to the Service in whole or in part for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Termination of your account does not relieve you of any obligations incurred prior to termination, including payment obligations and indemnification.
8. Payments and Subscriptions
Certain features of the Service require the purchase of tokens or a membership subscription. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms.
Membership plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. You authorize Stripe to charge your payment method automatically at the start of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Token purchases are one-time payments and do not renew automatically. Tokens do not expire and remain on your account until used, unless your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Continued use of the Service after a pricing change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
Purchasing a membership, token pack, or any other paid feature does not guarantee that you will receive uninterrupted access to the Service, that all features included in your plan will remain available for the duration of your purchase, or that the Service will meet your expectations. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or remove features, tools, quotas, or any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice, including features that are part of a paid plan. No purchase entitles you to the permanent availability of any specific feature or functionality. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, as further described in Section 12.
Promotional and Redemption Codes
Soteria may issue promotional or redemption codes ("Codes") that grant tokens, membership time, or other benefits. Codes are subject to the following terms:
- Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency, sold, resold, or transferred to any third party.
- Codes may be subject to usage limits, expiration dates, eligibility restrictions, or other conditions set at the time of issuance.
- Each Code may only be redeemed once per account unless otherwise specified. Attempting to redeem a Code multiple times, on multiple accounts, or through automated means is a violation of these Terms.
- Redeeming a Code does not guarantee that you will receive any reward, benefit, or credit. Codes may fail to apply, may be invalid, or may not function as expected, and Soteria is not obligated to honor, replace, or compensate you for any Code that does not result in a reward.
- We reserve the right to revoke, invalidate, delete, or modify any Code at any time, with or without notice, and for any reason, including suspected abuse or fraud. This includes Codes that have already been distributed but not yet redeemed.
- Benefits received through a Code are subject to the same terms as purchased benefits, including forfeiture upon account termination.
9. No Refund Policy
All purchases made on Soteria, including token packs and membership plans, are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including for unused tokens, unused membership time, account termination due to a Terms violation, or general dissatisfaction with the Service.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or card provider, instead of contacting us first, will result in your account being permanently and automatically banned, with all memberships and tokens revoked immediately. By completing a purchase you agree to resolve any billing concerns directly with us before contacting your payment provider.
Nothing in this section removes or limits any right to a refund, cancellation, or withdrawal that is granted to you by a mandatory consumer-protection law of your jurisdiction and that cannot legally be waived by agreement. Where such a non-waivable right applies to you, this no-refund policy applies only to the fullest extent that law permits, and the remainder of this section continues to apply.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service that is not user-submitted, including text, graphics, logos, icons, the obfuscation engine, and underlying software, is the property of Soteria or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
While you retain ownership of the original source code you submit, the obfuscated output produced by the Service contains proprietary transformations, structures, and techniques that are the intellectual property of Soteria. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, deobfuscate, or otherwise attempt to derive the methods, algorithms, or techniques used in the obfuscated output. Any attempt to do so constitutes a violation of these Terms.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our software, branding, logos, or any other proprietary materials without our express written permission. Without limiting the foregoing, you are expressly prohibited from:
- Using the Soteria name, logo, branding, or any confusingly similar marks to market, promote, or endorse your own products or services, or any third-party products or services, without our express written consent.
- Listing, referencing, or including the Soteria name or branding in any reverse engineering, deobfuscation, or decompilation tool, service, or bot, including but not limited to tools that claim to defeat, bypass, or undo obfuscation from Soteria or any other provider.
- Implying any affiliation, endorsement, or partnership with Soteria without our express written consent.
If your brand, logo, or likeness appears on the Soteria website and you wish to have it removed, please contact us at [email protected].
Any feedback, suggestions, ideas, feature requests, reviews, bug reports, or security and vulnerability reports you provide to us may be used by Soteria in any way we see fit, without any obligation to compensate, credit, or reward you in any form. By submitting any of the above, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily, that you have no expectation of payment, bounty, recognition, or any other consideration, and that Soteria is under no obligation to act on, respond to, or implement anything you submit.
11. Copyright Infringement and DMCA
Soteria respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. If you believe that content hosted on or processed through the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification to our designated agent in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) ("DMCA"). Your notification must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on the Service.
- Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
DMCA notices should be sent to our designated agent at [email protected]. Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notification, we will respond expeditiously to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We may also, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
Soteria acts as a service provider within the meaning of 17 U.S.C. § 512. We do not monitor, review, or pre-screen the content of scripts uploaded, obfuscated, or hosted through the Service, and we do not have actual knowledge of infringing material unless properly notified. We are not liable for the infringing activities of our users.
If you believe that material you posted on the Service was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to us at the address above. Counter-notifications must comply with the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Filing a counter-notification that contains materially false statements may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that obfuscated output will be undetectable by any particular system, anti-cheat, or third party.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soteria disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing, usage, or trade practice. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the Service or any content available through it.
We work to keep the Service usable across common devices, browsers, and assistive technologies, but we do not warrant uninterrupted compatibility with every specific hardware or software configuration. We are not liable for access issues caused by factors outside our control, such as your device, network conditions, or third-party software.
Soteria does not guarantee that obfuscated code will be impossible to reverse engineer, deobfuscate, reconstruct, or otherwise recover in any form. Obfuscation is a deterrent, not an absolute security guarantee. Similarly, the Oracle whitelist and key system is provided as a tool to help manage access, but we do not warrant that it will prevent all unauthorized use, bypass, or circumvention. If a third party is able to deobfuscate, reconstruct, steal, replicate, or otherwise recover any script you have processed through the Service, Soteria bears no responsibility or liability for that outcome, and you expressly agree not to hold Soteria liable for any resulting loss, damage, or claim.
The Service, including our Discord bot, relies on credentials, tokens, and secrets to operate and to authenticate integrations. We take reasonable measures to protect these credentials, but we do not warrant that they are, or will remain, immune from compromise, theft, or unauthorized use. Soteria is not responsible for any action taken, damage caused, or content generated through the Service, our Discord bot, or any other integration as a result of a compromised, leaked, or misused credential, token, or secret, whether belonging to Soteria or to you.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Soteria, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or reputation, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service or any script processed through it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Without limiting the foregoing, Soteria is not responsible or liable for:
- Any damage, harm, loss, or liability caused by scripts that users upload, obfuscate, host, or distribute through the Service. You are solely responsible for the content, function, and distribution of any script you process through Soteria.
- Any data breach, data loss, unauthorized access, or security incident, whether caused by our systems, third-party infrastructure, or any other factor, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Any compromise, leak, theft, or misuse of a credential, API key, token, or secret used to operate the Service or any Soteria integration, including our Discord bot, and any action taken by a third party using that credential, token, or secret, regardless of whether it belonged to Soteria or to you.
- Any downtime, service interruption, degraded performance, or unavailability of the Service, whether planned or unplanned.
- Any loss or damage resulting from your reliance on the Service, including the effectiveness of obfuscation, the accuracy of decompiled output, or the security of the key system.
- Any third party deobfuscating, reverse engineering, reconstructing, replicating, or otherwise recovering any script you processed through the Service, regardless of the method used.
- Any failure of the Oracle whitelist or key system to prevent unauthorized access, bypass, key sharing, or circumvention.
- Any third-party claims arising from your use of the Service or scripts processed through it.
- Any action taken by an Oracle service creator with data received through webhook logs, the Soteria dashboard, or any other feature of the Service, including but not limited to the use, storage, disclosure, or misuse of User IDs, HWIDs, geolocation data, Roblox profile information, or any other data disclosed to the service creator. Service creators are independent third parties, and Soteria assumes no responsibility for their conduct.
- Any loss of data, unavailability, or security incident involving any third-party service used by Soteria, including paste hosting providers, payment processors, email delivery services, CAPTCHA providers, geolocation services, or any other infrastructure or service provider.
- Any damage, harm, loss, malware, or other consequence resulting from a script or listing surfaced through the Script Library, including scripts sourced from rscripts.net, ScriptBlox, ScriptVerse, or any other third-party repository we search or link to. We do not author, host, review, or control this content.
In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the lesser of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).
14. Waiver of Claims
By using the Service, you voluntarily and knowingly waive, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any and all claims, causes of action, suits, and demands against Soteria, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, including but not limited to claims related to:
- Data breaches, data loss, unauthorized access to your account or data, or any security incident, regardless of cause.
- Any compromise, leak, theft, or misuse of a credential, API key, token, or secret used to operate the Service or any Soteria integration, including our Discord bot, and any resulting action taken by a third party.
- Service interruptions, downtime, errors, bugs, or loss of access to your account, tokens, memberships, or obfuscated output.
- Inability to access or use the Service due to your specific device, platform, browser, or network configuration.
- Any third party deobfuscating, reverse engineering, reconstructing, stealing, or otherwise recovering any script you processed through the Service. Obfuscation is a deterrent, not a guarantee, and you accept this risk by using the Service.
- Any failure of obfuscation, the Oracle whitelist system, or the key system to prevent unauthorized access to, use of, or theft of your scripts or intellectual property.
- The actions, scripts, or conduct of other users of the Service.
- Any use, storage, disclosure, or misuse of your data by an Oracle service creator who received that data through webhook logs, the Soteria dashboard, or any other feature of the Service.
- Any decision by Soteria to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account under Section 7.
This waiver is a material term of these Terms. If you do not agree to this waiver, you must immediately stop using the Service.
15. Indemnification
If a third party brings a claim, lawsuit, or legal action against Soteria because of something you did, including your use of the Service, any script you uploaded or obfuscated, a violation of these Terms, a violation of any applicable law, or a violation of the rights of any third party, you agree to cover Soteria's costs. This means you will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Soteria, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors from and against any and all resulting claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including the cost of Soteria's legal defense. This obligation survives the termination of your account and these Terms.
This indemnification obligation expressly includes, without limitation, any claim arising from your decision to link a Discord server to the Service, your delegation of bot access to any Discord role or individual under Section 3, or any action taken by a person or role you have authorized, whether or not that action was authorized by you.
16. Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party services to operate, including but not limited to: Stripe for payment processing; Cloudflare for content delivery, security, CAPTCHA verification (Turnstile), and analytics; third-party email delivery services; third-party hosting services for script and paste storage; Roblox Corporation APIs for retrieving publicly available avatar thumbnails and Roblox game search results; rscripts.net, ScriptBlox, and ScriptVerse for the public script listings shown in the Script Library; Google and Discord for OAuth authentication; Work.ink, Linkvertise, and LootLabs for gateway monetization; and third-party geolocation and intelligence services for IP and email lookups. By using the Service you agree to be bound by the terms of service and privacy policies of these providers where applicable.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, policies, practices, data retention, or security of any third-party service, including any platform on which you choose to use scripts processed through Soteria, and any paste hosting provider that stores script content on our behalf. The third-party services we use may change over time without notice. We encourage you to read their terms and privacy policies.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith informal negotiation by contacting us at [email protected]. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within thirty (30) days, it shall be resolved exclusively through binding individual arbitration, administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration shall take place in San Francisco, California, and the language of the arbitration shall be English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
18. Class Action Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You expressly waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Soteria. If this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the entirety of the arbitration provision in Section 17 shall be void, but the remainder of these Terms shall remain in effect.
19. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that the use of the Service is entirely at your own risk. Soteria provides tools for code obfuscation, key management, and decompilation, and makes no guarantees regarding the effectiveness, security, or suitability of any output for your intended purpose. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether the Service meets your needs and for any consequences that arise from your use of it, including any interaction with scripts processed by other users of the Service.
You further acknowledge that linking a Discord server to the Service, delegating bot access to Discord roles, or relying on any credential-based integration carries an inherent risk that a role, account, credential, or secret involved could be compromised or misused by a third party. You accept this risk as a condition of using these features.
20. Force Majeure
Soteria shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, pandemics, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, third-party service outages, or any other force majeure event.
21. Assignment
You may not assign, transfer, or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Soteria may freely assign, transfer, or delegate its rights and obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, without notice or consent, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalidity of any single provision does not affect the validity of any other provision of these Terms.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Soteria regarding your use of the Service. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether oral or written, between you and Soteria regarding the Service. No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that or any other provision.
24. No Third-Party Beneficiaries and No Assignment of Claims
These Terms are between you and Soteria. No third party has any rights under these Terms, and nothing in these Terms is intended to or shall confer any rights or remedies on any person or entity other than you and Soteria.
You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any claim, cause of action, or right to sue arising under or relating to these Terms or the Service to any third party. You may not direct, encourage, fund, or otherwise cause any third party, including any person who has not independently used the Service, to bring a claim, lawsuit, complaint, or legal action against Soteria on your behalf or in connection with your use of the Service. Any claim against Soteria must be brought by the individual user who directly used the Service and who is personally bound by these Terms.
Any attempt to circumvent the dispute resolution, arbitration, waiver of claims, or class action waiver provisions of these Terms by assigning claims or using a third-party proxy is a material violation of these Terms and shall be void and unenforceable.
25. Selective Enforcement
Soteria's decision not to enforce any provision of these Terms against a particular user or in a particular instance does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision, and does not limit our right to enforce it against any other user or in any future instance. We reserve the right to enforce these Terms selectively, at our sole discretion, and our choice to overlook or permit a violation in one case shall not be used as a defense by any other user or in any subsequent proceeding.
26. Export Controls and Restricted Regions
You may not access or use the Service if you are located in, or a national or resident of, any country or region subject to comprehensive economic sanctions, including but not limited to those administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the UK Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI), or the European Union. This includes but is not limited to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions. You represent and warrant that you are not on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties, and that your use of the Service does not violate any applicable export control or sanctions laws.
27. Electronic Communications Consent
By using the Service, you consent to receive communications from Soteria electronically, including via email, in-app notifications, or messages posted on the Service. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You waive any right to require a physical, non-electronic original or copy of any communication, and you agree that electronic records are valid and enforceable to the same extent as paper documents.
28. Survival
The following sections of these Terms shall survive and remain in full force and effect after any termination, expiration, or cancellation of your account or these Terms, regardless of the reason for termination: Section 3 (Oracle Data Collection and Service Creator Access), Section 10 (Intellectual Property), Section 11 (Copyright Infringement and DMCA), Section 12 (Disclaimer of Warranties), Section 13 (Limitation of Liability), Section 14 (Waiver of Claims), Section 15 (Indemnification), Section 17 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution), Section 18 (Class Action Waiver), Section 19 (Assumption of Risk), Section 22 (Severability), Section 23 (Entire Agreement), Section 24 (No Third-Party Beneficiaries and No Assignment of Claims), Section 25 (Selective Enforcement), Section 26 (Export Controls), Section 27 (Electronic Communications Consent), this Section 28 (Survival), Section 29 (Governing Language), and any other provision that by its nature is intended to survive.
29. Governing Language
These Terms and all related policies are drafted in English. If these Terms or any related policy are translated into any other language, the English version shall prevail and control in all respects. In the event of any conflict, ambiguity, or inconsistency between the English version and any translation, the English version shall be authoritative and binding.
30. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We are under no obligation to notify you individually of any changes, and your continued use of the Service after a revision is posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
